Booking & New Guests

Q: How long does it take to get in for an appointment?
A: On average it takes 6-8 weeks for a color appointment and 4 week for a haircut appointment. Special accommodations can be made for an additional rush fee.

Q: How do I make an appointment?
A: Step 1 - Complete the new guest intake form for all new client inquiries.
Step 2 - All new color guests are also asked to book your virtual consultation here.

Q: What if none of the times available work for me online?
A: Life happens, I get it! Email me personally at - grace@g3hairdesign.com. Be sure to include what your availability is Monday - Thursday and I will reach out to you with custom options.

Q: Where are you located?
A: G3 Hair Design is a private salon studio located at 2569 Freeman Dr in Lake Orion, Michigan, convenient to Oxford, Auburn Hills, Rochester, Troy and surrounding areas.

Consultations & Pricing

Q: How much will it cost?
A: Due to the nature of hair color appointments being personalized to each person,
an accurate estimate will be given during consultation starting at $250. Haircut appointments are $80.
​​
Q: How long will the appointment take?
A: Plan on 1 hour for haircut only appointments and 2 1/2 + for your first color appointment. *Specific time frames will be given during consultation.

Q: Do you offer consultations for new guests?
A: Yes, G3 Hair Design offers virtual and in-person consultations to create a custom hair plan, discuss color, maintenance and budget, and make sure we’re a great fit before your first appointment.

Q: What are your haircut prices and who are your haircuts best for?
A: Women’s haircuts start at $80 and are designed for career-driven, family-focused women who want a polished, easy-to-style cut that fits their face shape, hair texture and daily routine.

Q: How often should I book to maintain my color and haircut?
A: Most clients visit every 6–10 weeks for color and haircuts; during your consultation, Grace will recommend a custom maintenance schedule based on your hair goals, budget and how quickly your hair grows.

Q: Are your color services available with cleaner or organic options?
A: For guests who prefer a more natural approach, Grace offers Simply Organic hair color that is up to 99% organic, with a small upcharge, and will help you decide if it’s a good fit during your consultation.

Q: Can I come to you?
A: I am happy to come to your location with a preplanned service, and an additional travel fee based on distance and time.

Q: Do you do formal styling?
A: Yes I love formal styling for any occasion! Photos from past events are located on the Home page in the slide show.

Q: Do you do haircuts for kids?
A: I do not accept children under the age of 10. Over the age of 10 can expect to be charged full price.

Q: Do you do Mens Basic Haircuts?
A: I am not currently accepting new male basic haircut clients. However it is important to me that all people are welcome to feel their most beautiful. All guests are welcome to pay my regular fees for any services.

A: Yes, G3 Hair Design offers professional hair extensions designed to add length, volume or fullness, with a focus on natural-looking, easy-to-maintain results for everyday wear.

Q: Do you offer keratin smoothing or treatments for frizzy hair?
A: Yes, G3 Hair Design offers keratin smoothing treatments and professional hair treatments to reduce frizz, add shine and make your hair easier to manage between salon visits.

Q: Do you accept grey-blending or color-correction clients?
A: Yes, Grace welcomes grey-blending and color-correction clients and specializes in creating realistic, step-by-step transformation plans so your hair stays healthy while you move toward your dream color.

Q: Looking for privacy?
A: If you would like privacy for any reason with no other guests in salon let me know and I would be happy to accommodate for an additional fee (based on appointment length.)​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Q: What amenities do you offer during my appointment?
A: Guests enjoy complimentary beverages, snacks, Wi-Fi and a relaxing, one-on-one atmosphere designed so you can unwind while your hair color and style are customized.

Q: What is the Hair Rehab course and who is it for?
A: Hair Rehab is Grace’s online hair care course that teaches you how to care for, style and protect your hair at home so you can have “good hair days” between salon visits.
Q: What is a Custom Hair Tutorial Lesson?
A: A Custom Hair Tutorial Lesson is a 45-minute private lesson, virtual or in-person, where Grace shows you step-by-step how to style your own hair using your tools, tailored to your hair texture and styling struggles.
Q: Is G3 Hair Design a good fit if I don’t like busy, crowded salons?
A: Yes, G3 Hair Design is a private salon studio where you see just one stylist, Grace, in a calm, one-on-one environment focused entirely on your hair goals and comfort.
